Studio Day FAQ

  • At one of our studio days, we secure a filming space for the entire day and schedule willing participants to come in and share their story. It’s roughly a 1-hour process where our director will interview you about your life and testimony. You don’t need to have it fully scripted and prepared - we’d rather have your honest, real answers. Don’t worry - you’ll do great!

  • • Your story - we’d love to have a few bullet-point notes about things you’d really like to mention. Once you start going, it can be easy to forget things and this is our reminder list.

    • Wardrobe - please bring (3) shirt/top options along with you to the shoot, and we’ll help you select which is most complimentary to the background. The general guidance is to avoid brand logos and tight, intricate patterns.

  • Our next studio day will be located at (TBD studio).

  • We always love to receive any photographs you have available, especially to show yourself, your family, and any moments you mention in your interview. You can email these to hello@testimonyproj.org and please include your name in the subject line.

  • After a studio day, we spend the next four months editing all the content, releasing each project periodically as it’s completed. Yes, it’s a long time – but it helps ensure that we’re telling each story in the best way possible!

  • That’s great! We’d love to hear more about your story, and see if it’s a good fit to travel to your location to bring your story to life. Please share a written description to hello@testimonyproj.org with the subject line including your name and Featured Story Submission.

Featured Stories are very resource-intensive, so please don’t be discouraged if we don’t have the capacity to take on more at this time. Our limit is monetary when we’re producing and releasing our content without charge. We 100% appreciate all submissions and hope to ramp up more production soon!

Our next studio day is: TBD
